Ok, so I want to buy a tablet, but I don't know what to go with. I currently have an android cell phone and I love it. So, yes, I do like android. Never had an apple though. I've checked em out and realize that a good android tablet has the same features as the ipad. Only diffrence I see is the price.
So I need you'll help, I'm undecided and would like youlls critics. Give me your ups and downs. Thankyou!!

I have an Android tablet, an Acer A500, and love it. When I was doing research on the various tablets I thought I was going to be buying an iPad, but after playing with the Acer A500 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 I went with the Acer because it had better overall response and seemed to have a better touch screen than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 from my experimentation. You definitely cannot buy one of these cheap tablets from makers like Vizio or whoever...you need to spend over $300 for a good Android tablet, and over $400 for a really good Android tablet. The only thing not so great about Android tablets is that Android is still very new to the tablet scene, so there are not a ton of apps that work on both smartphones and tablets. The apps that do have tablet functionality are amazing though and work just as well as their iPad counterpart if there is one on the Apple App Store. I've never once regretted buying my Android tablet. Really, Samsung is the best brand you can look to if you want to get Android anything and I may end up buying a Galaxy Tab 10.1 sometime within the next 6 months just for fun. I used to be a huge supporter of iOS and the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad until I started really playing around with Android and realized that Android is the superior mobile operating system for various other reasons aside from the Android Market...there's a reason why Apple is trying to sue Google and Samsung over Android and Android products, and it's because Apple feels very threatened by the competition Android is bringing to them. I've never had to worry about my system updates not working on my tablet because they make sure they work before they push them out to the devices. There are some things I would like to see differently in the Android Market, but those are pretty small things that I can overlook for right now. Android is still just developing and proving itself as a mobile operating system, and there's a reason why the US military is choosing Android over iOS to develop military applications for...just saying.

I am an apple person. I think the IPad is better. 1 battery life is longer. 2 the IPad is made to last. 3 1000 more apps. 4 you don't have to worry if the the next up date is going to work. 4 Camera is better. 5 FASTER. 6 There is only 1 IPad while there is hundereds of cheaply made android tablets out there.

this is all my opinion.
