Question:
Blackberry 3300 Curve Uncaught Exception: java.lang.OutofMemoryError?
2011-02-27 09:05:54 UTC
I have a Blackberry 3300 Curve and every now and then, the spinning hourglass will pop up randomly, spin for a long time, and render my phone incapable of performing any actions. After waiting an hour or two, I get an error message saying: Uncaught Exception: java.lang.OutofMemoryError. I have some apps, such as Facebook and Twitter, does that affect it? Also, this is my second blackberry, I had lost the first one and through the Sprint/Blackberry support people, I transferred my original phone number on to the current phone. I don't know if that affects my problem.

Should I take my phone in to be looked at? Or is there a way to fix this?

Have you ever tried taking away the battery? Vigour it down, take out the battery, put it back in and let it reboot. To not insult your intelligence, but you in no way be aware of on here ;)

You should take it in to be looked at, to avoid any further problems/voiding your warranty.
