how do I convert a file FROM I-tunes .m4v TO .avi or .mpeg?

This is to convert FROM Apple I-Tunes .m4v (h264)TO .avi or .mpg...NOT the other way around. I have a Pocket media player on my Treo 650 that will play just about any file extension excet .m4v Any conversion FROM .m4v TO anything else will actually be a help

You can first burn the songs to a cd and then import them back into your computer as wma or mp3.

PS: avi and mpg are video file extensions.
