Ok, so i currently have an htc amaze 4g since around march, 2012. Not even a year yet and it is having some problems even though i never dropped it in water and etc. The battery drains really quick even when i charge it it still drains with or without me using it during the charge. It takes about an hr just to get to 10% or sometimes even 5%, but when i first got it an hr usually gives it 50%. I've then decided to change the battery, but yet it still has the same problem, so i thought it was the charger cord that was messed up, so i ought myself to buy another one, BUT still it doesn't charge right. I've tried rebooting, removing the battery, closing all apps, deleting most of my apps and etc, but no luck. I won't be able to get another phone anytime soon so any advice?

To get a replacement go to protect your bubble.com or similar insurance site and insure it, after your first payment to them make a claim and pay around £50 for admin fees, then cancel insurance, banks also offer insurance if you already pay to have your account then speak to bank you maybe already covered, if you hold down volume up (could be volume down not done this for a while) and press power while the phone is off ( keep hold of volume) you should load up a screen with green red and white i think it is and use volume keys to select factory reset and use power to accept selection this will completely erase all apps etc and return phone to factory state worked for me, many apps cause battery drainage by putting virus on your phone meaning apps run in back ground no matter how many times you exit them.

you can always try to fix it yourself first. search model name plus "repair guide" on any search enginge. They will show details about about part replacent etc. in detail. There are other websites that sell all the replacement parts, one of the bigger ones is http://portatronics.com (646) 797 2838. Then for the repair itself you can venture to do it yourself, or better ask a friend who has done a similar repair before.
