Why do so many people love the Blackberry?

I do not get it, I demoed a blackberry in a store and I found it hard to use the trackball, confusing, and not user-friendly. I prefer palm os, I know it is basically dead, but I will continue to use it until I get the palm pre. I think that palm os is much easier to use than the blackberry, simpler, and it has more free games and apps. Who else agrees with me, and those who don't, please tell me why you prefer the blackberry over palm.

P.S. I also don't understand the pearl, it does not even have a full keypad!

It's the trendy everybody-must-have device of the day. It's time will come and go. I'm with you. I like Palm. And I've heard the Pearl's keys get loose and come out easily.

I think it is just a personal preference. There are some people that can't stand palm. I have a blackberry 8330 curve and i love my phone
