Looking at Treo, HP, and Dell but unsure which is most cost effective.

I would say the treo650 but you should wait until the windows mobile version comes out

The Palm Treo 650. Best Screen. Most amount of features. Most third party add on applications. If you buy the version from Verizon, you get the best coverage too.
