I currently have a g1 and am inquiring about a samsung behold, which one is better and why?

Question

I was told that the behold was pretty much the same as the instinct just different packaging and carrier. I am unsure which phone is better for someone that texts alot and does drop their phone on occassion

i have both phones i just got the behold a few days ago because i work for T Mobile the g1 is much better the web browser on the behold is not full html so i don't know why its a 3g phone the camera is not all that better than the g1 i took a picture side by side and they look almost the same flash it not all to good texting is nice but g1 has a key bord and a apps store with so many applicators the only thing that i liked about the behold was the size the operating systems is so much better with the g1 the samsung does NOT have windows mobile im acutely going to take back the behold and stick with the g1 much better phone

Yes same here, Im in a debate on which cell to purchase. I currently recieving the G1 tomorrow in the mail. But im going to exchange it for the white when it come out. But i think there good cell. The behold lighter then the g1. behold doesnt have a keybaord, g1 does.

Big thing for behold is that it does not have wifi. it work on 3g which you have to pay for 20 a month

the camera for behold is 5.0 with flash and video while g1 is 3.2 no flash no video but has an app where you can make it as a video recorder.

The pricing is just 30$ difference behold is 150 and g1 180.

The behold work on window mobile. g1 isnt

Stereo bluetooth on behold not on g1 though.

G1 has Android Market and behold doesnt.

I personally think there kind of the same but go in the store and try the behold and g1.

I went today to the store and try the behold it nice and comfy in the hands. but it your choice

Well--here's the real question for me--do you want to pay for the $34.99 G1 service?



For me, the answer was NO, so I went with the Behold. Also, I thought the G1 was simply too big and after trying both out, I think the Behold's touchscreen is better.



I do wish the Behold had an actual keyboard instead of just the touchscreen, but I'll take what I can get. The web surfing seems fine to me and the best part of the Behold for me is the fact that I can get alerts, etc. for my yahoo mail directly, instead of going through T-zones, which is what I did with my Blackberry.

Samsung Behold is overall a better looking phone, camera and video is better than the G1, but G1 will have so many 3rd party apps, so feature wise, G1 beats the behold

I think the Samsung Behold looks better, but when it comes to features, G1 beats it hands down.

im a college student with a tmobile dash and ive been dying to get something better but i would suggest keeping the g1 and try waiting for something better ..if u text alot than a phone without a full keyboard would be pointless being that you would have to look down everytime u type to make sure ur doin it right..in a few months maybe even weeks their would be enough new applications on the android market to suffice for the basic applications it is missing but the lack of the windows mobile is stopn me from getn the g1..i need my Microsoft office daily!..il suggest waitn for another htc device..possibly the htc touch pro hd
