I currently have a BlackBerry Storm and I also have an iPod Touch so Wifi connectivity is no biggie.

I love the BBM concept and I love the SureType keyboard. Something that the iPhone doesn't have.

I would love to hear from Current and Past users or Phone geeks :P just let me know the benefits of BlackBerry Storm 2 and iPhone, their strong and weak points and ofcourse, calling quality and battery life. Thank you all in advance

Go for the BlackBerry Storm 2, it's a functional phone which is more functional then the iPhone. The whole phone is build on messaging whereas the iPhone is built for media.

The BlackBerry actually has multitasking, you can be logged into an IM client (Yahoo, BlackBerry Messenger ect.) and when you revieve a message while you're doing something else you can go to the messaging application and all of your messaging clients are integrated into that. You can also have your Facebook account integrate with your contacts, pulling info from Facebook, birthdays, profile pictures and phone numbers and apply them to your phone contacts.

The email handling of the Storm is also superior because there is full html viewing and you are actually able to select all email messages with the Storm and NOT with the Iphone. You have real push notifications accross all applications and tru multitasking. The battery life is good and the keyboard is FAR more accurate.

The iPhone 3gs is still the same as the 3g and original iPhone, an uncluttered mess of icons with NO real multitasking, no themes, or custom applications. Jailbreaking your phone voids your warranty.

The Storm supports custom themes; like all BlackBerries custom apps and TRUE multitasking. It carries the tradition of superior email handling and messaging capabilities.

I don't really know much about the blackberry storm. But I hav an iPhone (jailbroken) and I love it. The level of customization is great, IF it's jailbroken. You can get free apps, ringtones, ect. If you don't know wtheck I'm talking about just YouTube it. Also, AT&T is great ONLY IF you're in an area that has 3g coverage.. It beats verizon with the speed. I know from experience when I'm out of town. But I'm not in an area that has 3g coverage so my whole web browsing and messaging and such us a bit slower. But I can survive. One more thing you would probably be interested in; you have to have the iPhone data plan. Which costs extra than a regular phone from AT&T. I have 900 mins &unlimited nights and weekends +rollover, unlimited messaging&web browsing included. If you want unlimited nights and weekends the 900 minute plan is the lowest for that. I think the one before that is 450? And that doesn't cover nights and weekends. . . Oh and it has the 5 people to choose to talk to unlimited. I have no idea if all that extra information was necessary. . But oh well. &my bill is $109 a month for a single plan.

i have the blackberry storm also, and my dad has the 3gs, and i cant even explain how much i wish i had his phone. the iphone 3gs in my opinion is a very awesome phone, and theres a huge difference between the 3g and 3gs, and its become more of a computer.

the blackberry storm is a great phone also, but it has becoming boring. the iphone has unlimited application downloads, free and not free. unlike the bb storm, there isnt that many.

if it were to me id go for the iphone
