I am a nurse, and use my PDA in my work. My last of was an HP IPAQ, and it was okay but I wasn't really satisfied with it.

Best PDA.
The Palm TX is the best mid-range PDA, and reviews say it has the best balance of processing power, multimedia features and connectivity, including Wi-Fi -- which means it can connect to wireless networks and hot spots. Its Palm Blazer Web browser and included Dataviz Documents To Go software are mature and sophisticated. The 3.7-inch screen has 320 x 480 pixels of resolution -- more than any other in its price range. The Palm TX comes with 128MB non-volatile memory, which you can expand by adding an SD card. If you want more processing speed, more on-board memory and better full-motion video, the Dell Axim X51v (below) is a better choice, but the Dell costs $100 more. Like all Palm PDAs, the Palm TX works with both Windows and Mac systems. The Dell can only sync with a Mac through third-party software.

I only recommend the Palm operating system (OS). They have a three click rule; you can get to any application in under three clicks. With Palm, you don't have memory issues like Windows Mobile. When you close an application in Windows Mobile, for some reason, it really doesn't close; then later you get a memory warning telling you that you have too many applications open. Palm has lots of free and cool applications available all over the net. Palm OS hardly ever locks up. Windows Mobile sometimes locks up from just being on for too long. Palm OS is extremely clean and straight forward. Windows Mobile is sluggish half the time. I support Palm OS 100%, and they are actually about to move to a linux kernel which will make it more stable and free.

personally, i love my Palm Tungsten T|3, but i would suggest the treo smartphone, you can choose between the 650, which runs on palm os, or the 700w, which runs on windows, but palm "spruced it up a little" both have excellent reviews, both have thumb keyboards, cameras, phone service, and all the usual PDA features.
