I am planning to buy a Blackberry Smart Phone. I would like to know if I can get it sync with my office Exchange server. There is no POP/SMTP available for our exchange server. I have the server address though. How will I sync up with the office mail server? I want to make sure that the emails are available both in Outlook as well as in my Blackberry. Pls help...

You have two options to connect your Blackberry device to Microsoft Exchange.

#1 - To sync your Exchange emails in real time, you must subscribe to your provider's Blackberry corporate email service.

#2 - You can attach your Blackberry device to your computer with that data cable and sync Outlookt with the BlackBerry manager software. This will only sync it while it's connected, much like a PDA.

You do NOT need the BlackBerry server product, which is used in corporations to deploy policies to their user's phones.

You need to deploy the Blackberry Eneterprise server that will integrate your Exchange email with your Blackberry.
