Why won't my PSP recognize my MP4 video files?

Question

The PSP can sync with Linux and UNIX. This is possible thanks to MacOS X's BSD features. So all I need to do is switch the PSP to USB mode, mounting the PSP and downloading the files to /media/sda1/mp_root/100mnv01 where the video files should go. However, when I switch to normal mode, the files do no appear. I can NOT access the links that I downloaded the files through the PSPs web browser. Why are these files not showing in the video section of my PSP?

Great question, I am having the same problem. I am using psp video 9 and it is showing that I downloaded the mp4 video, but the psp doesn't show the video.

Because it wont allow u to take a mp4 vidieo films
